Festival 2023 Information

Happy New Year!  2023 is here and final plans are being made for the Central Alabama Handbell Festival 2023!!!  Hooray, after three years of COVID related cancellations, we are all excited to gather again at Pleasant Hill UMC on Feb. 24 & 25 for the 34th Annual Central Alabama Handbell Festival!!!  Visit our pages for the music selections, registration information, clinician bio & other information.

Joel Raney, our Clinician, chose, From the Composer's Point of View, as the focus for the Workshop on Friday, Feb. 24 at 4:00 pm - 5:15 pm.  Get those questions you've always wanted to ask the composer ready for the Workshop.

New this year...The Holiday Inn has opened, almost on the campus of Pleasant Hill UMC, a Holiday Inn Express.  In the past accommodations were an exit or more away.  Right next door is so much closer!  A group rate is available:  $159 per room per night plus 11% tax.  Currently, we have 10 rooms reserved & available.  They are on a first come first serve basis.  Feb. 3, 2023 is the deadline to make your reservations.  If you know you will need more rooms than we have available, let me know ASAP so I can see if we can get more rooms included.   Do not call the Holiday Inn Express at McCalla directly to make your reservations.  To make a reservation use the information listed below.
